Sigma Lambda Beta is the largest growing Latino-based, multicultural fraternity in the nation. The international fraternity was established in 1985 at the University of Iowa. After more than thirty years, Sigma Lambda Beta has established over 100 collegiate entities that span across 29 states that hold membership of their 12,000 members. As Sigma Lambda Beta and the American Heart Association share a focused priority of CPR education, the two organizations established a partnership early 2016. The partnership of Sigma Lambda Beta and the American Heart Association will improve health outcomes and reaching Latinos with life-saving skills increasing education and awareness.
