Take the stairs instead of the
Climbing stairs firms your buttocks, legs and stomach, and walking upstairs for as little as six minutes a day will get you in 10 to 15 percent better shape.
Sit on a fitness ball instead of your office chair
Sitting on fitness ball burns over four times more calories per hour than sitting in an office chair. Do it for a month and you’ll burn an extra 640 calories!
Pacing while talking on your wireless phone or reading the latest marketing stats can help you burn an extra 35 to 40 calories an hour. Walk briskly while you talk to greatly increase the calories you burn.
Park farther from your destination
Most of us are guilty of circling around the parking lot to score the “best” parking spot. But the best one is probably farther away. You’ll save time, gas — and get a few minutes of exercise in your day.
