Executive Vice President, American Heart Association Mid-Atlantic Affiliate
In his role since 2010, Beauchamp leads the association’s strategy to transform the health of our communities by building an equitable foundation of health and well-being for everyone. The Mid-Atlantic Affiliate has excelled in passing public policy, increasing the quality of care in hospitals, and providing employees the opportunity to increase their wellness in the workplace.
The Affiliate is made up of Maryland, Washington DC, Virginia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Augusta and Savannah GA.
Beauchamp started his AHA career in Detroit in 2002. He held several positions in Michigan and Florida before moving to Virginia to lead the Mid-Atlantic Affiliate. He has been a member of many national leadership groups and committees including the Communities of the Future task force, the CEO Innovation Think Tank, Hospital Accreditation Business Management Committee, and the Volunteer Oversight Group.
Prior to joining the American Heart Association, Beauchamp was Director of Development and Volunteer Recruitment for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Arizona. He holds a bachelor’s degree from Arizona State University.
